I picked up Zodiac Academy because of BookTok hype, and wow! I was not prepared.
From book one (The Awakening), we dive into Solaria, where Tory and Darcy Vega discover they’re powerful Fae with a claim to the throne. The problem? Four arrogant heirs who refuse to share power. Cue nonstop tension.
The bullying is harsh, the heirs are infuriating, and yet I couldn’t stop reading. The characters feel messy and real, Tory is fierce, Darcy is softer but strong, and the heirs… complicated (my feelings changed a lot).
The romance is addictive: slow burn, enemies-to-lovers, and “I hate you but can’t stop thinking about you” energy. Sometimes toxic, sometimes swoony, always dramatic.
What hooked me most was the unique world-building—star signs, elemental magic, and the academy setting. And the emotions? I laughed, I cried, and I stayed hooked the whole way through.
